Action Replay AddressesAs I said before, finding addresses to use in codes is probably the most difficult part of hacking. If you're lucky enough to work for Datel or a couple of other cheat device companies, you have access to nice tools that let you search for values in the PS2's memory while the game is running. Unfortunately, home hackers like us are not so lucky. We do have a couple other options. The simplest way to find addresses for existing codes, change them slightly and see what the new code does (if anything). This method, however, is very tedious and time consuming and doesn't always produce results. The second method for finding addresses is by using PS2DIS. For more information on using PS2DIS to find addresses, take a look at my PS2DIS guide here. I'm trying to make it as informational as possible while still keeping it general and not tied to one game (although that's proving harder than I thought it would be).
